Or. Admin. Code § 856-030-0035 - Pilotage Fee Waiver
Notwithstanding the terms of any applicable rate order, the Board may, in its discretion and upon the application of any pilot or pilots, permit the requesting pilot or pilots to waive all or part of any pilotage fees that would otherwise be due from a vessel, provided that:
(1) The waiver is sought for a noncommercial
vessel.
(2) The application is in
writing; is made in advance of pilotage services being rendered; and states the
nature of the vessel and the reasons why the waiver should be
granted.
(3) The Board may grant a
waiver only upon a finding that it would be in the public interest to do
so.
