Or. Admin. Code § 860-082-0040 - Insurance
(1) A public
utility may not require an applicant or an interconnection customer with a
small generator facility with a nameplate rating of 200 kilowatts or less to
obtain liability insurance in order to interconnect with the public utility's
transmission or distribution system.
(2) A public utility may require an applicant
or an interconnection customer with a small generator facility with a nameplate
rating greater than 200 kilowatts to obtain prudent amounts of general
liability insurance in order to interconnect to the public utility's
transmission or distribution system.
