201 Pa. Code r. 608 - Bonds of Magisterial District Judges
(a)
Each magisterial district judge is required to give bond in such sum, not less
than $25,000, as shall be directed by the president judge of the court of
common pleas of the judicial district in which is located the magisterial
district of the magisterial district judge , with one or more sufficient
sureties.
(b) The bond shall be:
(1) lodged with the prothonotary of the court
of common pleas;
(2) conditioned on
the faithful application of all moneys that come into the hands of the
magisterial district judge as an officer; and
(3) for the benefit of the Commonwealth and
its political subdivisions, and all persons who may sustain injury from the
magisterial district judge in the judge 's official
capacity.
