22 Pa. Code § 11.22 - Tutorial work
(a)
Upon written parental request, a student may be excused during school hours for
the purpose of receiving tutorial instruction in a field not offered in the
district's curricula only if the following requirements are met:
(1) The excusal does not interfere with the
student's regular program of studies.
(2) The qualifications of the instructor are
approved by the district superintendent.
(b) A school district may adopt additional
conditions for excusal that it deems reasonable.

The provisions of this § 11.22 amended under section 1317(a) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 367(a)); and sections 1327, 1330, 1372, 1511 and 2603-B of the Public School Code of 1949 (24 P. S. §§ 13-1327, 13-1330, 13-1372, 15-1511 and 26-2603-B).
