34 Pa. Code § 45.33 - Floors and stairways
(a) The
floors in mills, basements, and other buildings used in connection shall be
kept in good repair and, as far as practicable, free from oil, grease and
debris.
(b) Stair treads shall be
replaced or repaired, when the surface or nosing shows wear to the extent of
40% or more of the tread thickness. The treads shall be fastened rigidly in
place and shall have no noticeable unevenness.
