34 Pa. Code § 6.23 - Window jack scaffold
(a)
Use. Window jacks shall be constructed to sustain a working
load of 200 pounds with a safety factor of four and shall be used only for the
purpose of working at the window through which the jack is placed. The placing
of planks between one window jack and a jack in an adjacent window is
prohibited. Window jacks shall not act as the supporting elements for other
scaffolding.
(b)
Persons
permitted. Not more than one person shall be permitted to be on a
window jack scaffold at any one time.
(c)
Approval. Window jacks
shall be of an approved type.
