34 Pa. Code § 7.365 - Safety
(a) Approved car
safety devices shall be installed to function in case of wire rope failure.
Safety devices shall be tested by certified inspector at each and every
erection.
(b) All material hoist
towers shall be designed by a licensed professional engineer.
(c) All material hoists shall conform to the
requirements of ANSI A10.5-1969, Safety Requirements for Material
Hoists.
