37 Pa. Code § 69.2 - Limitations
The authority extended by the provisions of this chapter shall be limited by the following provisions:
(1) Firearms shall only be used for defensive
purposes and may only be carried by parole agents while on duty.
(2) Permission to carry firearms may only be
given to those parole agents who have successfully completed a Board-approved
and sponsored training course in the use of firearms.
