49 Pa. Code § 21.337 - CRNP responsibilities
(a) A
CRNP is required to maintain documentation of completion of continuing
education, including:
(1) CRNP
name.
(2) Dates attended.
(3) Continuing education hours.
(4) Title of course.
(5) Course provider.
(6) Location of course.
(7) Course number.
(b) Primary responsibility for documenting
completion of the continuing education requirements rests with the CRNP. A CRNP
seeking to renew certification or prescriptive authority shall verify
compliance with continuing education requirements. Documentation of completion
of continuing education requirements must be maintained for 5 years. The
certificate issued by the course provider must be acceptable documentation.
Acceptable documentation of hours obtained through §
21.334(c) or (e)
(relating to sources of continuing education) must be the Board approval letter
sent to the applicant.
(c)
Falsification of information required under this section or failure to complete
continuing education requirements by those who continue to practice as a CRNP
or to prescribe, may result in the institution of formal disciplinary action
under section 14(a)(3) of the act (63 P.S. §
224(a)(3)).
