58 Pa. Code § 1001a.10 - Simulcasting facilities
(a) A
licensed gaming entity approved for and issued a casino simulcasting permit to
operate casino simulcasting shall establish a simulcasting facility as part of
its licensed facility.
(b) A
simulcasting facility may be adjacent to, but may not be a part of, a room or
location in which slot machines or table gaming are operated or
conducted.
(c) The space or area
required for the establishment of a simulcasting facility may not be used to
decrease the number of slot machines or table games in operations at the
licensed facility or to reduce the space approved by the Board for the
operation of slot machines and the conduct of table games.
(d) A casino simulcasting permit holder shall
establish and maintain a simulcasting facility of sufficient square footage to
promote:
(1) Efficient operation of the
facility.
(2) Viewing of simulcast
horse races by patrons in a manner which is not obtrusive to the conduct of
gaming within the licensed facility.
(e) Security of the simulcasting facility
shall include the installation and maintenance of security and surveillance
equipment, including closed circuit television equipment, according to
specifications approved by the Board. The Board shall have direct access to the
system or its signal.
