58 Pa. Code § 637a.3 - Cards; number of decks
(a) Poker
shall be played with one deck of cards that are identical in appearance and one
cover card. Two decks of cards with different color backs shall be maintained
for use at each Poker table at all times. Each deck shall be continuously
alternated in and out of play with each deck being used for every other round
of play. Unless an automated card shuffling device is being used in accordance
with subsection (b), while one deck of cards is in use, the other deck shall be
stored in the area designated under §
637a.2(c)
(relating to Poker table physical characteristics).
(b) If an automated card shuffling device is
being used, one deck shall be shuffled and stored in the automated card
shuffling device while the other deck is being used to play the game.
(c) The two decks of cards that are
alternated in and out of play shall be changed at least every 12 hours and
rotated with other decks in accordance with §
603a.15(j)
(relating to cards; physical characteristics).
