S.D. Admin. R. 74:36:08:09 - National emission standards for chromium emissions from hard and decorative chromium electroplating and chromium anodizing tanks

The national emission standards for hard and decorative chromium electroplating and chromium anodizing tanks are those in 40 C.F.R. § 63, Subpart N (July 1, 2018). An area source that operates a unit subject to Subpart N is exempt from the obligation to obtain a Part 70 operating permit if the source is not required to obtain a Part 70 operating permit for a reason other than the source is subject to Subpart N. Exempted sources must still meet the applicable requirements in Subpart N.
