Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0770-01-05-.05 - CONFLICT OF INTEREST
(1) No present or
former member or officer of the THDA or any subcontract agency, no employee of
the THDA or any subcontract agency who formulates policy or influences
decisions with respect to the Section 8 Programs, and no public official or
member of a governing body or State or local legislator who exercises functions
or responsibilities with respect to the Section 8 Programs may have any direct
or indirect interest in a housing assistance payment contract or any proceeds
or benefits arising from such a contract as a participant or owner during this
person's tenure or for one year thereafter.
(2) No member of or delegate to the U.S.
Congress will be accepted as a participant or owner in the programs or allowed
to receive any benefits that may arise from it.
(3) The THDA reserves the right to request a
waiver of the above requirement from HUD if the circumstances indicate that a
waiver is warranted.
