Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0780-05-06-.02 - Definitions

Definitions for this chapter shall be as follows:

"Inactive" means a professional soil scientist who has obtained inactive status from the commissioner and is not required to comply with continuing education requirements as prescribed herein. A professional soil scientist in inactive status may not engage in the practice of soil science;

"Retired" means a professional soil scientist who has obtained retired status from the commissioner and is not required to comply with continuing education or renewal requirements or pay renewal fees as prescribed herein. A retired professional soil scientist may not engage in the practice of soil science and a license in retired status may not be reactivated.
