Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0800-01-09-.06 - CONTAINER LABELING AND OTHER FORMS OF WARNING
(1)
Employers are required to comply with
29 CFR
1910.1200(f) Labels and
other forms of warning.
(2)
Employers shall ensure that work areas in which non-containerized hazardous
chemicals are generated or produced as a result of the process or operation
taking place in such work area (e.g., welding fumes, carbon monoxide from
powered industrial trucks exhaust, etc.) contain a sign or placard identifying
the hazardous chemical(s) and appropriate hazard warnings.
(3) Employees shall not be required to work
with a hazardous chemical from an unlabeled container or in an unsigned or
unplacarded work area containing a hazardous chemical produced as a result of
the process or operation in such work area except as provided in
29 CFR
1910.1200(f).
