Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1660-01-28-.13 - EXPIRATION OF LICENSES AND PERMITS
(1) Pursuant to
T.C.A. §
70-2-107,
the traditional license year, beginning March 1 of each year and lasting until
the last day of February the following year, is hereby abolished. An annual
license system is established as set forth in paragraph (2).
(2) Each license or permit issued under these
rules must be dated when issued. Each license or permit issued under these
rules is valid for twelve (12) months after the date of issuance, except for
the following:
(a) Lifetime sportsman license
(Type 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, and adoptive lifetime license created under
T.C.A. §
70-2-201),
which is valid from the date of issuance until the death of the license
holder;
(b) Permanent license or
permit (Type 166, 169, 189, 197, 198, and 199), which is valid from the date of
issuance until the death of the license or permit holder;
(c) Falconry permit (Type 117, 122, and 123),
which expires on June 30 of the third year from the date of issuance;
(d) Permit issued to a successful quota hunt
applicant, which is valid for the period specified on the quota
permit;
(e) Short-term license or
permit (Type 21, 23, 36, 38, 65, 72, 74, 77, 78, 79, 80, 85, 88, 90, 92, 96,
97, 98, 99, and 191), which is valid for the period specified on the license or
permit;
(f) Short-term range permit
(Set forth in Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs.
1660-01-28-.07,
-.08, and -.09), which is valid for the period specified on the
permit;
(g) Migratory bird permit
(Type 06) which is valid for the period specified on the permit; and
(h) Permit for captive wildlife (Type 124,
125, 150, 160, 161, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, and 176), which expires on
June 30 of each year.
