Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1730-01-.23 - EUTHANASIA IN C.A.C.A.S AND FACILITIES GOVERNED BY THE NON-LIVESTOCK ANIMAL HUMANE DEATH ACT (TCA Section's 44-17-301, ET SEQ)
The only drugs approved by the Board for the euthanasia of animals by a licensed veterinarian who performs euthanasia in a certified animal control agency or in a facility governed by the provisions of the Non-Livestock Animal Humane Death Act codified at T.C.A. §§ 44-17-301, et seq., shall be sodium pentobarbital and all commercially available F.D.A. approved euthanasia agents containing sodium pentobarbital.
