1 Tex. Admin. Code § 20.285 - Annual Report of Unexpended Contributions by Former Officeholder
(a) A person who ceases to be an officeholder
at a time when he or she does not have a campaign treasurer appointment on file
must file an annual report if he or she has unexpended political contributions,
unexpended interest or other income earned from political contributions, or
assets purchased with political contributions or interest or other income
earned from political contributions after filing the last required report as an
officeholder.
(b) A report under
this section shall be filed not earlier than January 1 and not later than
January 15 of each year following the year in which the former officeholder
filed the last required report as an officeholder, unless the requirement to
file annual reports has ended as provided by subsection (d) of this
section.
(c) The report is filed
with the authority with whom the former officeholder's campaign treasurer
appointment was required to be filed.
(d) The requirement to file annual reports
ends after:
(1) all political contributions,
unexpended interest or other income earned from political contributions, or
assets purchased with political contributions or interest or other income
earned from political contributions have been disbursed and reported on an
annual report; or
