13 Tex. Admin. Code § 11.4 - Duties of Officers
(a) The chair shall
perform such duties as are properly required of him or her by the commission.
He or she shall preside at all meetings. He or she shall have general
supervision of the affairs of the commission, and shall have authority to
interpret and carry out all policies established by its members. He or she
shall answer directly to the commission. The chair appoints all committees as
he or she deems necessary, and is an ex officio member of all committees except
the nominating committee.
(b) The
vice-chair shall perform such duties as the commission or the chair may direct,
and shall preside in the absence of the chair.
(c) The secretary shall certify the minutes
of all meetings of the commission and shall perform such other duties as may be
prescribed by the commission or the chair. The secretary shall preside in the
absence of the chair and the vice-chair.
