16 Tex. Admin. Code § 112.124 - Surrender of a License or Permit
(a)
Surrender by license holder or permit holder.
(1) A license holder or permit holder may at
any time voluntarily offer to surrender the person's license or permit for any
reason.
(2) If no complaint is
pending, the executive director shall accept and void the surrendered license
or permit immediately.
(b) Formal disciplinary action.
(1) When a license holder or permit holder
has offered the surrender of the person's license or permit after a complaint
has been filed, the executive director shall accept and void the surrendered
license or permit immediately.
(2)
When the executive director has accepted such a surrender, the surrender is
deemed to be the result of a formal disciplinary action and an order accepting
the surrender may be prepared.
(c) Reinstatement. A license or permit which
has been surrendered may not be reinstated; however, a person may apply for a
new license or permit in accordance with the Act and this chapter.
(d) This section does not apply to a license
or permit that is subject to §112.125.
