16 Tex. Admin. Code § 130.47 - Inactive Status
(a) A practitioner
may place a license on inactive status, at no cost, by submitting a completed
application in a form and manner prescribed by the department.
(b) A person whose license is on inactive
status must not practice podiatric medicine in this state. The practice of
podiatric medicine by a person whose license is on inactive status constitutes
the practice of podiatric medicine without a license.
(c) A practitioner on inactive status must
renew the inactive status every two years, at no cost, in a form and manner
prescribed by the department.
(d)
To change from an inactive status license to an active status license, an
applicant must:
(1) submit a completed
application in a form and manner prescribed by the department;
(2) pay the required renewal fee as
prescribed in §130.60; and
(3)
complete the CME that is required for the renewal of an active license during
the preceding license period. CME hours used to satisfy the requirement for
changing from an inactive status license to an active status license must not
also be utilized for a future renewal of an active status
license.
