16 Tex. Admin. Code § 55.59 - Settlement Agreement
(a) A settlement
agreement may resolve an entire claim or any designated and severable portion
of a claim.
(b) To be enforceable,
a settlement agreement must be in writing and signed by the Department, or the
Department's authorized representative, and a representative of the contractor
who has authority to bind the contractor.
(c) A partial settlement does not waive a
contractor's rights under Texas Government Code, Chapter 2260, as to the parts
of the claim that are not resolved.
