16 Tex. Admin. Code § 75.28 - Registered Technician - Certified Technician (Legacy) Designation

(a) This section applies only to a person who submits an application for a certified technician designation on or before August 31, 2018.

(b) A registered technician may use the designation "certified technician" after obtaining a certified technician designation from the department.

(c) To obtain a certified technician designation, an applicant must:

(1) submit a completed application on a department-approved form;

(2) provide proof of having passed a certification examination administered by;

(A) a nationally recognized certification organization; or

(B) other organizations approved by the department; and

(3) pay the required fee.
