22 Tex. Admin. Code § 882.12 - Refusal to Issue License for Failure to Pay Child Support
(a) The Council shall, in accordance with §
232.0135 of the Family Code, refuse to issue a license to an individual if the Council receives notice from a child support agency that the applicant has failed to pay child support under a support order for six months or more and the child support agency requests the Council to deny issuance of a license.
(b) Following receipt of notice from a child support agency, the Council may not issue a license until the child support agency has notified the Council that the applicant has met one or more of the requirements set out in §
232.0135(b) of the Family Code.
(c) The Council may charge the applicant a fee equal to the application fee for a refusal under this rule.
