26 Tex. Admin. Code § 303.910 - Suspension and Termination of MI Specialized Services

(a) The LMHA or LBHA must suspend MI specialized services for a resident with MI when:
(1) the resident with MI is admitted to an acute care hospital for fewer than 30 days and is returning to the same NF; or
(2) the resident with MI loses Medicaid eligibility.
(b) The LMHA or LBHA may terminate one or more MI specialized services of a resident with MI if:
(1) the resident with MI loses Medicaid eligibility for more than 90 days;
(2) the resident with MI or LAR requests the MI specialized services be terminated; or
(3) the MI specialized services team, which includes the resident with MI and LAR, agrees the resident with MI no longer benefits from the MI specialized services.
