26 Tex. Admin. Code § 350.1203 - Definitions
The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, will have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Community
transition meeting --A meeting held to discuss how the subrecipient will assist
the family with transitioning from ECI services to community services,
activities, places, or programs that the family would like the child to
participate in after exiting ECI services.
(2) LEA notification --A notification sent to
the LEA of a child who is potentially eligible for ECSE services.
(3) LEA notification opt out --The parent's
choice not to allow the subrecipient to send the child's limited personally
identifiable information to the LEA to meet requirements in §
350.1211 of this subchapter
(relating to Local Education Agency Notification of Potential Eligibility for
Early Childhood Special Education Services).
(4) LEA transition conference --A meeting to
discuss ECSE services and eligibility determination for children who are
potentially eligible for ECSE services.
(5) Limited personally identifiable
information --The child's and parent's names, addresses, and phone numbers;
child's date of birth; service coordinator's name; and language spoken by the
child and family.
(6) Transition
planning --The process of identifying and documenting appropriate steps and
transition services to support the child and family to smoothly and effectively
transition from ECI services to ECSE services or other community services,
activities, places, or programs that the family would like the child to
participate in after exiting ECI services.
