26 Tex. Admin. Code § 370.1 - Human Trafficking Prevention Training Requirements
(a) For a human trafficking prevention
training course to become approved by the Executive Commissioner, or designee,
the course must meet the human trafficking training standards established by
the Health and Human Services Commission.
(b) The human trafficking prevention training
course, at a minimum, must include:
(1) types
of human trafficking, including definitions;
(2) vulnerability factors;
(3) health impact;
(4) identification;
(5) assessment;
(6) response; and
(7) resources.
(c) Health care practitioners who provide
direct patient care, except physicians and nurses, must complete an approved
human trafficking prevention training course for each license renewal, within
the full license term as defined by each licensing entity.
(d) A complete description of the human
trafficking prevention training standards and training approval process is
posted on the HHSC website. At least one approved course will be available
without charge.
