28 Tex. Admin. Code § 4.2801 - Purpose
The purpose of this subchapter is to prescribe guidelines and standards for the following activities:
(1) the submission of a statement of
actuarial opinion in accordance with Insurance Code §
425.054, concerning
Annual Valuation of Reserves for Policies and Contracts Issued on or After
Operative Date of Valuation Manual, and for memoranda in support of such
opinion;
(2) the appointment of an
appointed actuary; and
(3) guidance
as to the meaning of "adequacy of reserves."
