28 Tex. Admin. Code § 61.75 - Failure To Appear
(a) Where the claimant
fails to make a personal appearance at the prehearing conference without good
cause, such failure to appear shall result in postponement until the board is
assured in writing of appearance.
(b) Where the attorney or carrier
representative fails to comply with the cancellation requirements of §
61.65 of this title (relating to
Request for Cancellation of Prehearing Conference) or fails to attend a
scheduled prehearing conference, the prehearing officer shall prepare a rule
violation complaint report as provided by §
65.10 of this title (relating to
Actions by Carrier, Claimant's Attorney, and/or Agent). Violation of this rule
may be grounds for sanctions, including reduction of fees, written reprimand,
or suspension from practice before the board.
