Unless specifically defined in the TCAA or in the rules of
the commission, the terms used in this subchapter have the meanings commonly
ascribed to them in the field of air pollution control. In addition to the
terms which are defined in the TCAA, §
3.2 of this title (relating to
Definitions), and §
101.1 of this title (relating to
Definitions), the following words and terms, when used in this subchapter,
shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates
otherwise.
(1) Designated facility -
Any existing facility which emits a designated pollutant and which would be
subject to a standard of performance for that pollutant if the existing
facility were an affected facility.
(2) Designated pollutant - Any air pollutant,
the emissions of which are subject to a standard of performance for new
stationary sources, but for which air quality criteria have not been issued,
and which is not included on a list published under the FCAA,

7408(a) or §
7412(b)(1)(A).
(3) Section 111(d) state plan - A plan
submitted by the state, in accordance with the FCAA, 42 United States Code
(USC), §7411(d), to the EPA Administrator which establishes standards of
performance for any existing source for any air pollutant for which air quality
criteria have not been issued or which is not included on a list published
under FCAA,
42 USC,
§
7408(a), or emitted
from a source category which is regulated under FCAA,
42 USC,
§
7412 or §
7412(b),
but to which a standard of performance under FCAA,
42 USC,
§
7411 would apply if such existing
source were a new source, and provides for the implementation and enforcement
of such standards of performance.
