31 Tex. Admin. Code § 17.11 - Notice
(a) Notice of proceeding. In any
administrative hearing, the clerk shall send a notice of hearing to each party
of record at least 10 days prior to the hearing date.
(b) Contents of notice. All notices required
by these sections shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested,
and shall contain the following:
(1) a
statement of the time, place, and nature of the hearing;
(2) a statement citing the legal authority
under which the hearing is to be held;
(3) a short and plain statement of the
matters asserted;
(4) a statement
citing the specific statute(s) or rule(s) involved; and
(5) in the case of administrative penalties,
the amount of penalties alleged to be due.
