34 Tex. Admin. Code § 101.13 - Notice of Prehearing Disposition
(a) If
an application for benefits is approved in whole or in part without hearing,
the director, by letter of notification, shall inform the applicant in writing
of the action taken.
(b) If the
director determines that an application for benefits cannot be approved, the
director shall send a letter of notification, informing the applicant that the
claim is denied, in whole or in part, and stating the reasons
therefor.
