34 Tex. Admin. Code § 51.7 - Assignment of TRS Vehicles
(a) TRS vehicles
are assets of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) pension fund and,
except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, are assigned to the TRS
motor pool, available for checkout and use in accordance with the provisions of
the TRS vehicle policy adopted by TRS staff and in effect at the time of
checkout or use.
(b) TRS may assign
a vehicle to an employee on a regular or every day basis only if TRS determines
that the assignment is critical to the needs and mission of TRS. The
determination shall be made by the Executive Director or his designee and
documented in writing.
