37 Tex. Admin. Code § 29.1 - Definitions

The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

(1) APA -- The Administrative Procedures Act, Texas Government Code § 2001.001, et seq.

(2) Commission -- The Public Safety Commission.

(3) Contested case -- A contested case as defined by the APA.

(4) Department -- The Department of Public Safety.

(5) Director -- The director of the Department of Public Safety or the designee of the director.

(6) Party -- Each person or agency named.

(7) SOAH -- The State Office of Administrative Hearings.
