37 Tex. Admin. Code § 343.638 - Exceptions to Requirement to be Supervised by Juvenile Supervision Officer
A resident shall be supervised by a juvenile supervision officer in accordance with requirements of this subchapter with the following exceptions:
(1) No more than three
residents may be supervised by a professional when the professional is working
with the residents in a capacity that relates to the professional's licensure,
certification, professional training, or education.
(2) A juvenile supervision officer shall
provide constant visual supervision of any therapeutic group between four and
twelve residents when those residents are working with a qualified mental
health professional or mental health provider.
(3) Private visitation between one resident
and an attorney, authorized visitor, or clergy does not require the constant
physical presence of a juvenile supervision officer.
