37 Tex. Admin. Code § 35.61 - Service of Notice
(a) Licensees shall
maintain on file with the department their current mailing and principal place
of business address. Notification shall be submitted in writing and received by
the department within fourteen (14) days of the date of the change of
address.
(b) The department is
entitled to rely on the address currently on file for all purposes relating to
notification. The failure to maintain a current address with the department is
not a defense to any action based on the licensee's failure to
respond.
(c) Service by mail is
complete upon deposit of the document enclosed in a postage paid, properly
addressed envelope in a U.S. Post Office or official depository under the care
and control of the U.S. Postal Service.
