37 Tex. Admin. Code § 355.668 - Special Education
(a) The facility
administrator, through a cooperative effort with the Local Education Agency
(LEA), will ensure that residents with disabilities are provided a free and
appropriate public education as determined by the Admission, Review, and
Dismissal committee in order to meet the individual educational needs of the
student as defined by federal and state laws.
(b) The facility administrator, through a
cooperative effort with the Local Education Agency (LEA), will ensure that
residents with disabilities have available an instructional day commensurate
with that of students without disabilities, in accordance with requirements
contained in 19 TAC §
89.1075.
