4 Tex. Admin. Code § 1.27 - Rules of Civil Procedure

Unless otherwise provided for in the APA or this chapter, the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure may be applied to govern procedural matters in proceedings before the department where, in the determination of the administrative law judge, such rules are practicable.
