4 Tex. Admin. Code § 1.402 - Charges for Providing Copies of Public Information

(a) The department will charge fees for copies of public information or access to public information in accordance with the Public Information Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 552 and the cost rules promulgated by the Office of the Attorney General of Texas in Texas Administrative Code, Title 1, Part 3, Chapter 70 (relating to Cost of Copies of Public Information).

(b) The cost rules promulgated by the Office of the Attorney General of Texas do not apply to requests for copies of publications compiled and printed by the department for public dissemination, and the department shall determine the charge to be made for such publications unless the charge is set by law.

(c) Requests for public information for which the Public Information Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 552 or the Office of the Attorney General of Texas have not established a charge will be charged the actual cost to the department to provide the item in accordance with Texas Administrative Code, Title 1, Part 3, Chapter 70, §70.10.
