4 Tex. Admin. Code § 3.22 - Definitions
The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Cultural controls--Manipulation of routine crop production practices to make the environment less favorable to the biological success of pests. Cultural controls for purposes of this subchapter include, but are not limited to, use of prescribed cotton stalk destruction methods and deadlines and use of prescribed uniform planting dates.
(2) Foundation--The Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation, Inc.
(3) Long-term control plan--A zone-specific plan that is to be implemented against boll weevils during and until eradication is complete.
(4) Secondary pests--Pests that generally occur as a result to natural enemy destruction through the use of pesticides directed at other pests.
