40 Tex. Admin. Code § 175.13 - Sale of a Material Asset, and Improvements
(a) Material Assets.
(1) No sale of timber, rock, gravel, sand,
chemicals, or other material asset, the loss of which tends to lower the value
of the land, shall be effective until approved by the chairman of the
board.
(2) The chairman will
prescribe the form or forms of instruments necessary to effectuate a sale, and
will approve any such sale on behalf of the board.
(3) At least 1/2 of the proceeds from the
sale of a material asset shall be paid to the board. This amount will be
applied toward the principal balance of the veteran's account.
(b) Improvements.
(1) Before any improvements may be removed
from the property the veteran must obtain written permission to do so from the
chairman of the board.
(2) The
veteran's request should be in writing and addressed to the chairman of the
board, and advise the amount to be paid, if any, and the reasons for
removal.
