40 Tex. Admin. Code § 844.89 - Commission Review of Hearing Officer Order
(a)
The Commission may, on its own motion:
(1)
affirm, modify, or set aside a decision issued under §
844.85 of this subchapter on the
basis of the evidence previously submitted in the case; or
(2) direct the taking of additional
evidence.
(b) The
Commission may permit the parties to initiate a further appeal before the
Commission.
