7 Tex. Admin. Code § 55.200 - Required Disclosures
(a) Specific Notice to Applicant. An originator sponsored by a mortgage company licensed by SML must provide a mortgage applicant with the notice required by §
56.200(b) of this title (relating to Required Disclosures). An originator sponsored by a mortgage banker registered with SML must provide a mortgage applicant with the notice required by §
57.200(b) of this title (relating to Required Disclosures). The notice must be sent at the time the originator takes the initial application for a residential mortgage loan.
(b) Posted Notice on Websites. An originator sponsored by a mortgage company licensed by SML must comply with the requirements of §
56.200(c) of this title. An originator sponsored by a mortgage banker registered with SML must comply with the requirements of §
57.200(c) of this title.
(c) Disclosures in Correspondence. An originator must provide the following information on all correspondence sent to a mortgage applicant:
(1) the name of the mortgage company or mortgage banker sponsoring the originator and its NMLS ID;
(2) the mortgage company's or mortgage banker's website address, if it has a website; and
(3) the name of the originator and his or her NMLS ID.
