Utah Admin. Code R154-2-201 - Time for Filing a Continuation Statement
(1) The first day on which a continuation
statement may be filed is the date corresponding to the date upon which the
related financing statement would lapse, six months preceding the month in
which the financing statement would lapse.
(a)
If there is no corresponding date, the first day on which a continuation may be
filed is the last day of the sixth month preceding the month in which the
financing statement would lapse.
(b) The foregoing rule is subject to the
ability of the filing office to take delivery of the continuation statement
when tendered and to Section
R154-2-101; and
(2) The last day on which a
continuation statement may be filed is the date upon which the related
financing statement lapses, subject to the ability of the filing office to take
delivery of the continuation statement when tendered and to Section
R154-2-101. The time of filing
of the continuation statement under Section R152-2-101 must be on or before
this last day.
