Utah Admin. Code R156-55a-700 - Emergency Contractor Licensing
(1) Under
Subsection
58-1-307(4)(g),
the Division may exempt or modify licensure requirements or issue an emergency
contractor license for any classification and any person or entity, including
an apprentice, journeyman, or master plumber or electrician license.
(2) In determining eligibility for an
emergency contractor license, or determining any exemption or modification of
licensure requirements, the Division may institute, exempt, or waive any
contractor licensing requirement, including any scope of practice, under Title
58, Chapter 1, Division of Professional Licensing Act, Title 58, Chapter 55,
Utah Construction Trades Licensing Act, and Rules R156-1 and
R156-55a.
(3) The Division may
issue an emergency contractor license or exempt or modify any licensure
requirement, including scope of practice, in any form approved by the
Division.
(4) An emergency
contractor license or a licensure requirement exemption or modification shall
expire as specified by the Division in a notice to the licensee, or in a notice
posted on the Division's website, at any time and for any reason.
