Utah Admin. Code R21-1-11 - Delay and Remission of Fees and Penalties
(1) OSDC may create policies for reducing
fees and penalties to incentivize payment of debts.
(2) When OSDC receives a criminal account
receivable for an offender who is incarcerated for the same criminal offense,
OSDC may not apply a collection fee or penalty to the receivable until 90 days
after the debtor is released from prison.
(3) When a debt is for a dishonored check as
described in Section
7-15-1, fees and interest shall be
assessed in accordance with that section.
