Utah Admin. Code R307-221-4 - Control Device Specifications
Control devices meeting the following requirements, shall be used to control collected municipal solid waste landfill emissions:
(1) an open flare designed and operated in
accordance with the parameters established in Section 40 CFR Part 60.18, effective as of date referenced in
R307-101-3,
which is adopted and incorporated by reference into this rule; or
(2) a control system designed and operated to
reduce nonmethane organic compounds by 98 weight percent; or
(3) an enclosed combustor designed and
operated to reduce the outlet nonmethane organic compounds concentration to 20
parts per million as hexane by volume, dry basis at 3 percent oxygen, or
less.
