Utah Admin. Code R311-211-3 - Cleanup Standards Evaluation Criteria
After source elimination, cleanup standards for remaining contamination which may include numerical, technology-based, or risk-based standards or any combination of those standards, shall be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the following criteria:
(1) The impact or potential impact of the
contamination on the public health;
(2) The impact or potential impact of the
contamination on the environment;
(3) Economic considerations and cost
effectiveness of cleanup options; and
(4) The technology available for use in
cleanup.
