Utah Admin. Code R315-273-37 - Standards for Universal Waste Management, Standards for Large Quantity Handlers of Universal Waste - Response To Releases
(a) A large quantity handler of universal
waste shall immediately contain all releases of universal wastes and other
residues from universal wastes.
(b) A large quantity handler of universal
waste shall determine whether any material resulting from the release is
hazardous waste , and if so, shall manage the hazardous waste in compliance with
all applicable requirements of Rules R315-260 through 266, 268 and 270. The
handler is considered the generator of the material resulting from the release,
and is subject to Rule R315-262.
