Utah Admin. Code R315-273-70 - Standards for Universal Waste Management - Imports
Persons managing universal waste that is imported from a foreign country into the United States are subject to the requirements of Sections R315-262-80 through 262-84 and the applicable requirements of Rule R315-273, immediately after the waste enters the United States, as indicated in Subsection R315-273-70(a) through (c):
(a) A
universal waste transporter is subject to the universal waste transporter
requirements of Sections
R315-273-50
through 56.
(b) A universal waste
handler is subject to the small or large quantity handler of universal waste
requirements of Sections
R315-273-10
through 20 or 30 through 40, as applicable.
(c) An owner or operator of a destination
facility is subject to the destination facility requirements of Sections
R315-273-60
through 62.
(d) Persons managing
universal waste that is imported from an OECD country as specified in
Subsection
R315-262-58(a)(1)
are subject to Subsections R315-273-70(a) through (c), in addition to the
requirements of Sections
R315-262-80
through 262-84.
